DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to streamline and optimize our development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring efficient, secure, and scalable systems. This role requires expertise in CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and address system requirements.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Implement security best practices in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve team productivity and system reliability.
• Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools, practices, and technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Expertise in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
